Ever tried to communicate with an absolute lunatic? It drives you mad- 20 emails later with threats to be banned from Canada and a new invented situation where apparently I changed the locks.
Tess refuses to leave me alone. I picked up my stuff and went. I needed some mental space. I needed somewhere I could breathe without expecting Tess at the door.
My parents have always taught me don't complain about something if you can change it- just change it.
But this is beyond my control now. Abusive email after abusive email. Accusation after accusation. This woman gave my mum fradulent bank details, refused to apologise and talk to her and then sent us eviction notice. She has overcharged us for the rent and is now overwhelming me with some requirement where I have to formally exit the property by walking around beside her and check nothing is damaged.
A week or so ago I had a really positive post lined up ready to go up, about all the support I had recieved and how it was all going to be alright.
But times gone by and it is still there. It is still bad. And people I thought were on my side are asking me to persuade them I did not change the locks, as if that is an actual question I can be asked.
The residential tenancy branch informed me I have no rights as a tenant. That the law exists but that there is no way of enforcing it. The law is a rich mans game. It is there to keep scammers and nutcases like Tess in business.
So apologies SSIM students, but have a really whiny post. Right now, nothing feels particularly good and it is difficult to see any positive when it seems that everyone around you has villanised you based on a psychopaths rants.
Money is the demon of the world. And money always wins.
