A little bit about Katy..

Katy is a second year student studying English Literature at University of Reading, Berkshire. Katy has a great interest in the social sector and will be participating in a placement at Potluck Catering- Vancouver.  Potluck Catering is an innovative company which provides job opportunities and fresh and nutritious food for those who need it most in the community. Katy has worked in childcare from the age of sixteen, running summer activity camps and teaching swimming and is a motivated and enthusiastic individual. During her placement Katy will be researching how Potluck could reinterpret its strategic plan/direction as a narrative essay that can easily be shared with all those affected by the company. Potluck provides 16,200 free meals every year and provides individuals with fundamental life skills which help to fight the barriers that can be faced in traditional employment.  (www.potluckcatering.org)
